'Batshuayi has said he's not leaving Marseille'

Marseille's the biggest fucking circus in football. He's bound to say shit like that or he'll have their loony support all over him, but even if it weren't for an owner who's desperate to sell the club, a complete lack of investment in the squad and the most shambolic season in decades, you can bet he wants to come to England. They all do in the French league.

I think Marseille will sell; they pretty much always do.

Re: Lacazette
Just hope Spurs don't turn their attention to him as Batshuayi has said he's not leaving Marseille

Still we can at least offer him first choice which he won't get there, papers in France were saying that was important

If we did get this bloke(or someone similar) and he scored 20 goals it would make a big difference to our season.

Signings of this quality give me a proper chubby

Agreed

Sakho, Lacazette. Carroll and a loan ST as our force next season is mouthwatering

I think "The Olympic Stadium" has kind of stuck with that being the name now, it's what most fans (not just West Ham fans) are calling it.

Anyway how has a thread about Lacazette gone onto this.

Has there been any quotes from Lacazette about a potential move?

Mitovic is not a great finisher though, he does put in the effort but we all know that is still frustrating to watch.

Dudley Moore ~ Dead right

Who in their right mind gives a monkeys who sponsors, or what the new stadium is "Officially" called?

They can call it the Great East End Doughnut, sponsored by Durex for all I care

At the end of the day, the stadium will get called whatever our fans call it

Look what happened when they tried to rename st James's Park up in geordieland!

People moaning about the company who might sponsor the stadium gives me the right arsehole.

spandex

most of our fans don't call our present stadium by it's actual name, what makes you think they are going to refer to the OS as anything other than Stratford?

Re: Lacazette
No question he is wanted.
But as many have said, strikers like him are on a small list - and there are lots of clubs that can afford him and his wages.

Just gonna come down to who sells the dream the best way.

My bet is Benteke.

I think given the fact that next season we will be playing at The Mahindra Stadium we can give up on self respect.

Defoe is 33 on huge money and he's a little judas cunt, have some self respect.

Re: Lacazette
Defoe has scored 14 this season.

He offers something we don't have and you can't deny he's one of the best finishers in the league, even now.

He'll be cheap and probably would fancy it and be happy to be a 2nd option. If we have Europe to consider we are gonna need more quality in depth, especially up front.

Seems a no brainer to me? Unless you still bear a grudge, which I don't.

Re: Lacazette
There's some fantastic players out there, Lacazette is one of them
I have to pinch myself to think we're in a position to realistically be in with a good chance of signing players of his calibre & in his prime too!
The last time we started to have the makings of a half decent side, we sold Rio, instead of buiding on it.
The rest was history & we were set back decades!
